
Öhringhausen Viaduct, B 55, Olpe–Rosenthal
Short description
The Öhringhausen Valley Bridge is located along the B55 in the Olpe district. The structure, which is approximately 135 meters long, was constructed as a prestressed concrete bridge with a box-girder cross-section. BBV Systems GmbH was responsible for the fabrication, prestressing, and grouting of the tendons on site.
The project
The Öhringhausen viaduct is part of Federal Highway B55 in the Olpe district and serves as an important link in the regional road network.
The structure, approximately 135 m long, consists of a superstructure with a box-girder cross-section and was constructed as a prestressed concrete bridge.
The chosen construction method enables a cost-effective design while ensuring high load-bearing capacity and durability.
BBV Systems GmbH manufactured the tendons directly on-site and carried out their prestressing as well as the subsequent grouting.
The professional execution of the prestressing work resulted in a durable and high-performance bridge structure.
