S 07, Fürstenfeld Expressway, Construction Lot 05, Bridge over the ÖBB

Short description

Construction of an Expressway in Fürstenfeld, Austria

The project

As part of the S 07 Fürstenfeld Expressway project, Construction Lot 05, a bridge was built over the ÖBB railway line as part of the expansion of the transportation infrastructure in Fürstenfeld (Austria).

The structure ensures that the new expressway runs without intersections and contributes to improving traffic flow and road safety in the region.

BBV Systems GmbH was responsible for the on-site fabrication of the tendons, as well as their prestressing and grouting. The use of prestressed concrete construction made it possible to realize a cost-effective and durable bridge structure.
