Short description
2 separate cable-stayed superstructures, 32 and 63 meters long
The project
As part of the Stuttgart 21 project, Section AS Esslingen Lot 2, PFA 1.4, bridges BW 4.1613 and BW 4.3355 were constructed on the A8 near the Esslingen exit in the direction of Stuttgart.
The structures are designed as single-span slab-beam superstructures and serve to facilitate efficient traffic flow as part of the infrastructure project.
BBV Systems GmbH was responsible for the on-site fabrication of the tendons, as well as their prestressing and grouting. The use of prestressed concrete construction enabled the creation of durable and cost-effective bridge structures.
