The BW K 28/1 bridge carries the B12 over the A94 in the Pocking district. The 52-meter-long prestressed concrete superstructure was constructed using prestressed tendons manufactured on site by BBV Systems GmbH.
The project
The BW K 28/1 bridge carries Federal Highway B12 over the A94 highway in the Pocking district.
The bridge, approximately 52 m long, consists of a single span and was constructed as a prestressed concrete structure.
For the superstructure, BBV Systems GmbH manufactured the tendons directly on-site and performed the prestressing and grouting.
The use of prestressed concrete construction resulted in a durable and cost-effective structure that ensures safe traffic flow.
