Short description
The Krondorf Valley Bridge is located along the A3 between the Neumarkt-Ost and Velburg interchanges. The structure consists of two separate prestressed concrete superstructures, each approximately 455 m long. The superstructures are being constructed using the segmental pushing method, with BBV Systems GmbH fabricating, prestressing, and grouting the tendons on site.

The Krondorf Valley Bridge is located on the A3 between the Neumarkt-Ost and Velburg interchanges.
The bridge structure consists of two separate sections, one for each direction of travel, each with a length of approximately 455 m.
The prestressed concrete superstructures are being constructed using the incremental launching method, which enables cost-effective and efficient construction.
BBV Systems GmbH is responsible for manufacturing the tendons on-site as well as for their prestressing and grouting. The chosen construction method results in a durable and high-performance bridge structure for interstate traffic.
